Psalm 145:4 "One generation will commend your works to another and will proclaim your mighty acts."
On June 21st, 2025 Emmanuel International and Emmanuel International Canada invited anyone who was able to join them at the EIC office for an afternoon of praise to God. This was an in-person celebration of our Jubilee year. Many of those who came had at one time or another worked with EI. Others have supported the work of EI through prayer and financial gifts. Going and serving, staying, praying and giving—all a part of heart responses to Jesus’ call to go and make disciples. Each person has faithfully played his or her part.
It was a joyful time, people greeting friends they hadn’t seen in years. There were stories and laughter over these memories. Some shared how they initially became a part of EI, often having no particular skill for the responsibilities they were given. The fact that they were trusted to do the job is something that has stayed with them through the years and has impacted their continued service for God. The starting point for each was faith in Jesus’ redemption and a willingness to share the truth of Jesus’ gift of salvation to others.
