100th Anniversary of the 1st Terena Church in Bananal Village, Brazil

The Terena Church in Bananal Village, Brazil, celebrated their 100th anniversary in February 2026. The celebration was attended by Missão Emanuel do Brasil (MEB) Director Fred Silva, along with MEB leaders Alcielito Carvalho and Marcelo Martins. The team also had the opportunity to visit the Terena Bible School.

The gathering reflected the gospel’s transforming work among the Terena people, bringing together participants from different ethnic communities in worship and fellowship. This church in Bananal Village stands as a testimony of faith, unity, and reconciliation.

For the MEB team, the visit was a powerful reminder of the perseverance, joy, and faithfulness of the Terena brothers and sisters, who serve the Lord with limited resources but great commitment. The experience affirmed that mission work is a shared blessing — where those who go to serve are also encouraged.
